Redesigned Clothing & Accessories
I had this really cool vintage moo moo from a skit back in the day. This pattern was too much fun and has become many new things.
It is so much fun to turn something that my children have outgrown into something else! This was an adorable dress and scraps from a shirt I took in.
I took this shirt in and gave it a little cap sleeve on one side and kept the 3/4 length on the other.
This was a shirt, but I turned it into this rockin' skirt with help from the top of some old yoga pants.
One morning my daughter told me she wished she had some overalls...these were ready by noon. I used the pocket and part of a leg for the top, and a shirt & shorts she had outgrown.
I save most of the denim that my kids grow out of for all kinds of projects.
This was a plus size shirt I wore for my oldest daughter's first Easter. I loved the color and the lightweight silky fabric. I was able to get enough fabric out of the sides to use the original hem at the bottom in this redesign.
This thick polyester shirt had 3/4 length sleeves and always made me hot when I wore it - so I gave it a sleeveless makeover.
My favorite redesign yet! The skirt was a men's shirt. The shirt has a new shark-bite hemline and one less sleeve.
Love this!
